SMOCKING (AKA) by Boston and Sandwich Glass Company (Operated: 1825-1887), C.1840's
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: attributable to Boston and Sandwich but possibly made by others as well. Any assignment to B&S should be treated as speculative because there is no documentation to back it up. Many of the pattern assignments to Boston & Sandwich were made during the period where everything that could not be documented to Bakewell, Pears and McKee was automatically B&S. We know that there were about thirty companies making tableware during the flint era but only a handful get credit for most of the production.
