    The Carriage Glass Museum offers glass blowing and decorating demonstrations, as well as the display of an extensive collection of antique to modern glass. The park is also home to the West Virginia Glass and Crafts Festival in late July and early August. Location: in Oglebay Park, two mi. N. of I-70 on Rt. 88.     Eighteenth and nineteenth century weapons, decorative arts and nineteenth and twentieth century American glass. The museum now offers an outstanding permanent display of nearly 1,000 glass objects, primarily from the OhioValley of the 19th and 20th centuries. An extensive collection of West Virginia glass features the production of Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., Central, Riverview, Jefferson, Fenton, Northwood, Dunbar, Fostoria, New Martinsville, Huntington Tumbler, Blenko, Rainbow and Pilgrim. Also on display are important examples of American and European 19th and 20th century art glass and contemporary studio glass. The museum now offers an outstanding permanent display of nearly 1,000 glass objects, primarily from the Ohio Valley of the 19th and 20th centuries.     Fostoria Glass Company began production in 1887 and continued until 1986. The museum is operated by the Fostoria Glass Society and devoted to the study and preservation of Fostoria Glass. The Museum is located at the corner of 6th and Tomlinson Streets, Moundsville, WV . The museum specializes in the glass made in Moundsville at Fostoria Glass Co. Open year-round, Thurs.-Sun., 1-4 p.m. Admission by donations. Fostoria Glass Society members free. 304-845-9188.

    In addition to the on-site factory, which is one of the very few remaining glass factories that once numbered in the scores, a small but well-arranged museum of Fenton glass is available. The historical development of the company is documented and most of the items that have come from the factory are displayed. The museum is dedicated to preserving the unique heritage of Ohio Valley glassmaking, and a video on "The Making of Fenton Glass" is shown throughout the day. Location: 10 mi. north of Parkersburg, WV, and just across the Ohio River from Marietta, Ohio. It is easily reached from I-77, use the Williamstown Exit (#185) or by WV State Routes 2 and 14 and U.S. Route 50. (A second Fenton Glass outlet is located at the Flatwoods Outlet Center, just off I-79 at Flatwoods (Exit 64), midway between Charleston and Clarksburg, WV) The Gift Shop and Museum are open year-round except New Years Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.     Excellent examples of West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania glass are displayed along with interactive exhibits for children. The Museum is located on the corner of Main Avenue and Second Street in downtown Weston, West Virginia. It's open to the public 6 days a week: Monday through Saturday Noon to 4 PM Open year-round, 20th century glass, collection of Riverside Glass and a great number of i information on various glass houses.

    Museum has the Vallier Collection of Early American Pressed Glass Goblets. Most of the goblets are on public display in the Fine Arts Building. Some have been stored during a major renovation taking place 2003-2005.
