Glass Factories

A visit to one of these factories is sure to provide you with a unique experience.  You can read any number of books that will describe how pressed glass was made between 1850 and 1910 but there is nothing like seeing the process happen right before your eyes.  All of the question you had about how the craftsman made this handle, or placed a particular style of lip on a water pitcher, will be answered.   Plan a trip to visit one of these locations, their product line has certainly changed over the years, but many of the glass making techniques are the same.
